SUMMER SKETCHES! part 2

So here are some sketches i did right when summer school ended. the main goal was to experiment with a little water color and my printer. i wanted to see how it would react just painting over my printed out sketches on water color paper. apparently this is nothing new and everybody knows this works...but it works! so i was excited. there can be a little discoloration but not much. anyway so thats the first half of sketches. the next part is just stuff i was inspired by at the time. like the Colombiana movie-not a great movie but Zoe Saldana was freaking hot. and i was looking through the kingdom come book by alex ross and i love his sketches, so to practice i just drew some of my favorites. and then i beat Batman: Arkham Asylum (woohoo!) over the break, so i drew the Ivy trophy-which was super super sexy, props to those modelers. anyway, this is part 2, part 1 is like 3 posts back. enjoy! now time for fall semester...sigh. later Nobody!

  1. I really like how the first two colored ones (storm and the skater dude) turned out!

I haven't tried printing somethin' and watercoloring it. Note to self. D:

  2. thanks Vi! yeah printing it out makes it much more freeing to make mistakes instead of being super careful with your line. by the way, i totally posted a comment on your comiccon sketches a while back but i saw it never showed up! sad. basically i said great job, but still, i think it was better said the first time, haha
